Privacy Policy

Short version

Typing Tutor is a privacy-respecting web app. All your typing progress, stats, achievements, and preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's LocalStorage. We do not have a database. We do not have user accounts. We do not sell or share data — because we don't collect any.

What is stored locally

• Your XP, level, and daily streak counter
• Personal best WPM and accuracy per lesson
• A history of your most recent typing sessions
• Unlocked achievements
• UI preferences (theme, sound on/off)

Clearing your browser data, using private/incognito mode, or clicking "Reset all progress" on the Stats page will remove this information.

Cookies & tracking

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not include third-party analytics scripts. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamp) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes only.
